Most XRP content online is either too technical or pure hype. WhatIsXRP.com started in 2020 to sit in the middle: clear explanations, honest about risks, and free of price-prediction nonsense.
WhatIsXRP.com is independently owned and has been running since 2020. It isn't funded by Ripple, any exchange, or any crypto project, so we're free to write about XRP honestly, including the risks.
We rely on primary sources wherever we can: the official XRP Ledger documentation at XRPL.org, court filings, company announcements, and established news outlets. Each guide shows when it was last updated. When something changes, we update the guide.
